Hello!  I’m Alex, and I’m a professional Business Analyst. I work in the tech industry on product and software development projects as a consultant. I’m using this space to capture my thoughts on Business Analysis as a discipline and craft, as well as make observations about life as a knowledge worker in the tech industry.

My academic training is in Cultural Anthropology, so many of my observations are informed by concepts from the discipline. My daily work as an analyst is heavily influenced by an anthropological mindset, resulting in insights about the tech industry, corporate culture filtered through that lens.
